Review of Skipping Christmas

** This was an interesting book to read right after all the busyness of the Christmas season. Luther and Nora’s adult daughter will be away for Christmas so Luther decides he and Nora should take a cruise and skip Christmas. This creates consequences reverberating throughout their lives as people are stunned by their decision. This book was entertaining as Luther and Nora stick by their decision much to the disappointment of everyone connected to them. When their daughter changes her plans and suddenly decides to come home chaos ensues. They don’t want her to know they were cancelling Christmas but they now have a short time frame to organize everything. As everyone bands together to put together a Christmas it was fun to see all the neighbours work together. All in all it was fun quick read.
