Review of One Last Summer

This was a perfect summer read! Clara and her friends return to their old summer camp for their annual vacation. Usually Clara is too busy to join her friends on their traditional week at the camp but this year she has decided to go. Time to relax and reminisce about their time there! Unfortunately they learn that the owners (who are now like family) are selling the camp and retiring. This sets off a melancholy mood for everyone. To add to this Clara has had to see Mack there, another one of their group, who knows how to push her buttons. As they spend time together Mack and Clara find they still have a connection. It was fun to read about everyone’s recollections of camp life as they embark on one final week. They want to make it the best one ever. The characters were interesting and the setting was perfect. I enjoyed my time reading about their camp adventures.
