Review of Cries From the Cold

I somehow missed posting my review for this book last year after I read it. Thank you to the author for sending her book my way. I really enjoy this author’s books so of course I was interested in this one. This is the first in a series featuring Detective Calista Gates. The descriptions and details in this author’s books are exceptional. I always love her characters too. This story is set in Labrador which is not somewhere that is usually found in books. Calista needs to solve a murder mystery set in Labrador and I liked following on her journey as she is an intriguing character. I am looking forward to more in this series.
